Ben set up Benjamin Henry Limited in 2020 after developing his experience in the building & joinery trade over the past 17 years. He started his career working for a master cabinet maker before expanding in to furniture restoration/making, joinery & timber framing. In 2011 he moved to Sierra Leone where he project managed construction sites with teams of 40+ workers for 3 years before returning to the UK to set up his own company. He’s passionate about all things nature & sustainability which shines through our work & company ethos. In his spare time Ben enjoys getting outdoors with anything survival/bushcraft related & spending time with his young family.

James qualified as an electrician in 2016 after a career change from working in the Police force & as a business manager for Lloyds Banking Group. He initially worked for an electrical firm before setting up his own business in 2020 & later joining us to become ‘Benjamin Henry Electrics‘ alongside his childhood friend, Ben. James is the manager of our electrical department & also oversee’s the project management at some of our sites, ensuring our team are safe, everything is running to schedule & our clients are happy. In his spare time James enjoys spending time with his family, watching films & eating sweets.

Martin

Site Foreman & Multi-trade

Martin started his career in carpentry 28 years ago & has a plethora of experience working across a multitude of projects. After developing his knowledge-base he progressed to include plumbing, plastering, tiling & electrical work in his skill set. His keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills & troubleshooting abilities along with his friendly, approachable attitude makes for a great site foreman.

Workshop Foreman & Joiner

Paul is an extremely talented Master Carpenter & joiner with over 32 years of experience in the field. You’ll usually find him hard at work in our workshop using his skills to bring our clients vision to life in the form of kitchens, doors, windows, stairs, oak framing & all things wood related!

Office Manager, Admin & HR

Debs has got vast experience in the construction industry within her field of admin & HR. She is in charge of all things health & safety, new employee inductions & contracts, ordering materials, contacting estimators, responding to enquiries & generally dealing with our wonderful team & clients. In her spare time she enjoys caravanning, teaching ballroom dancing, cooking/baking & walking her dog Mr Bojangles.

Faye recently moved to Somerset to be closer to family so has joined Benjamin Henry Limited to do our accounts including invoicing, reconciling accounts & payroll. She started her career working for a telephone company before travelling Australia & Singapore & returning to work in accounts at a magazine company for 8.5 years where she gained her experience. In her spare time she enjoys walking her chiweenie (Chihuahua X dachshund) Lottie. She brings joy to the office!
